How to get there
It's a 2.5-3-hour drive from NYC or Boston, 1 hour from Albany or Hartford (Bradley Intl.), 45 minutes from Hudson (if you're taking the Amtrak), and 8 minutes from Pittsfield Municipal Airport.
Peter Pan runs 2 direct buses daily from NYC Penn Station to Lenox, arriving at 1:10PM and 9:10PM. The bus ride is 4 hours. The bus stops at 5 Walker Street in Lenox, a 5-minute walk to Kemble Inn or a 35-minute walk to Apple Tree Inn.

Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony (5:30pm prompt) and following reception will take place at Hancock Shaker Village. Shuttle buses will pick guests up at 4:15pm at Wheatleigh, Kemble Inn & The Apple Tree Inn, and at 4:35pm at The Inn At Richmond.
For designated drivers: Hancock Shaker Village is located on Route 20 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, just west of the junction of Routes 20 and 41. The address is 34 Lebanon Mountain Rd., Hancock, MA 01237. Alternatively, enter 1843 W. Housatonic St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 then proceed 1/2 mile further West on Rt. 20 and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From Albany, New York (approximately 1 hour)
- Take Route I-90 east to Exit 11E (Route 20) Nassau
- Follow Route 20 east into Massachusetts.
- The Village’s entrance is on the right, approximately 3 miles from the New York/Massachusetts border.
From Boston (approximately 2 1/2 hours), Springfield (approximately 1 hour), Massachusetts and other points east
- Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) west to Exit 1.
- Take Route 41 north through the towns of West Stockbridge and Richmond to the junction of Route 20.
- Take Route 20 west for 0.5 miles, the Village’s entrance is on the left.
From New York City via Taconic Parkway (approximately 3 hours)
- Take the Parkway north to Route 295 (it is the last exit before the toll).
- Take Route 295 east to Route 41.
- Take Route 41 north to the junction of Routes 41 and 20.
- Take Route 20 west for 0.5 miles, the Village’s entrance is on the left.
From New York City via I-87 (approximately 3 hours)
- Take I-87 north to I-90.
- Take I-90 east to Exit B-3 in New York (there is no exit eastbound at Exit 1 in Massachusetts.
- If you continue on I-90 you can get off at Exit 2-Lee and follow directions from Massachusetts and other points east).
- Take Route 22 north to Route 295.
- Take Route 295 east to Route 41.
- Take Route 41 north to the junction of Routes 41 and 20.
- Take Route 20 west for 0.5 miles, the Village’s entrance is on the left.
To the Waldinger House (Farewell picnic on Sunday)
*** Shuttles will be provided between hotels (Wheatleigh, Kemble Inn, Apple Tree Inn, Inn at Richmond) and the Waldingers' home, looping throughout the event, beginning at 11am. Please make use of the shuttles and do not drive--parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED! ***

The address is 134 TOP OF DEAN HILL RD, Canaan, NY. Google maps have it off by about half a mile though. Please follow the following directions to avoid entrapment and death.
Driving from Lenox:
- Take Lenox Rd to Route 41 (turn right onto 41)
- 41 to 295 (left onto 295)
- As soon as you see the green sign Welcome to New York State on the right side of the road, immediately slow down and look for the left turn for Cunningham Hill Rd. (the turn is about 50-100 yards before the sign). If you drove past the sign, you've gone too far.
- Go about a mile on Cunningham Hill Rd. and turn left onto TOP of Dean Hill Rd. Drive until you see a WALDINGER sign on the left.
- WARNING: Whatever navigation system you use, DO NOT TAKE Rossiter Rd - it's not drivable and shouldn't be on the map!!!! You will never be seen again.
